Like the 40+ year old stuff that is really really really on there??? I usually just go with hot water and Dawn, and manual scraping, but I am always on the lookout for the laziest means of doing anything .............. so I am hoping someone knows of a secret technique to remove this old stuff in a ...

Re: Robb's Bolink Invader #2 & #3

Let's see the tumbler you're using. I'm curious now. I buy nothing but the best! :D Number one rule of this tumbler is to make sure you tighten down the top very well before using. If it gets loose, everything on that center shaft starts vibrating against each other, and the machine will kinda self...

Re: Subscription for the RC10

Associated already did that in the USA by selling direct at the same prices the shops were selling them rather than listing them at MSRP. Buying direct from them should be the last resort after you have tried all shops. 100% I have purchased all my ReRes from hobby shops, even though I have had to ...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

I needed another summer project like I needed another hole in my head, but this made its way to my driveway last week. This is what you get when you are too lazy to take the canoe out anymore. :D The trailer should be worth what I paid for combo, and it actually has a title, so I put new lights on i...

Re: Robb's Bolink Invader #2 & #3

Got the electronics in the pan car this evening. The BEC and wire shortening made all the difference in the world in making this all fit under the body. Body posts and mounting will be the next step for #2.

Re: Bodies For HT Frog Prince?

For now, McAllister Roadrunner for the win! It is overall a big body, but with the 2.2s on the chassis, it doesn't look too disproportional I don't think. Motor and rear shocks fit under it like it was made for it. I am thinking about maybe putting side body posts on the rear shocks screws, FX-10 st...

I don't believe I should have won this, but I will take it! I appreciate all the votes. My two favorites ended up tied for 3rd, which makes no sense to me!!

Re: Eye to eye lengths for 0.56 and 0.71 shocks?

This is my little reference. Most of this was lifted from RCCA a long time ago. Can't guarantee you it is perfect, but it has always worked for me.

Wo Wo Wo!!! Undefined, imaginative, outside of the box, primitive maybe, but let's not go as far as crude! :D

Re: AI Generated R/C Images

I have been thinking about building an RC10 buggy bodied drag car for a couple of weeks now, and Gemini did a fantastic job right off the bat. :) It appears to be 4wd though, without steering links, or steering links are coming from a differential looking apparatus. The north-south motor and blower ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Just a simple single item today. A very nice Tekin ESC from member frankentruck. Ed allowed me to "purchase" this from him, at a great price, by simply donating to rc10talk.com This is a great concept, and I have done the same in the past, and I hope that others think about doing the same ...
