Re: Post Pictures of your Losi Vehicles

Hello Adam! Thank you very much! But none of my cars (even if they are new or in perfect condition) can be compared with your "over the top" builds. I will try to clean some of them and make some clean pictures of the cars that were not posted here. For the paint scheme, as shown hereunder...

Losi XX Kinwald build

Here goes another XX build. This is a new genuine Kinwald Edition XX. I am building it as a shelfer with plenty of tasty upgrades from Trinity, MIP, HG, and Lunsford.

I can't seem to get enough of these XX buggies.

Re: Losi XXT building / rebuilding topic

Hello! So, the first step (to assemble something) is finished. I built that car with a Sabulatech front bulkhead, but as I should receive an aluminium front bulkhead + a gearbox brace from Rusti design in the next days, I will update this post. I will change also the screws to switch to aluminium bl...

Hi!

I added blue screws, the gearbox brace from Rusti Design and also the aluminium bulkhead.

So I will try to find a body, and then it should be OK

Have a nice week-end,

Re: Losi JrxT rebuild

An update. I dyed some A&L wheels today and 3D printed some custome wheel nuts to for the wheels as I didne want to use metal nuts on this. I was also able to acquire some losi front tires that are in great shape. Now I just need to find some rear tires. I am looking for a pair of aggressive spi...

Re: Losi XX Kinwald build

^ Thanks! The body is growing on me as well.

I installed this Trinity GT motor. I don't know much about them, but I thought it matched well, and is about the correct vintage. I wanted to do something different from another D2 motor.

Re: Losi XXT building / rebuilding topic

Thank you very much Adam  As I had some XXXT's white wheels, I used them on the car (+ Losi tires). Now I will have to find a body for this car (probably a repro, it will allow me to use my paint scheme) Have a nice week! https://nsm09.casimages.com/img/2021/05/31//21053107381425345817444820.j...

Re: Is the XXXT a Losi Problem Child?

The Losi XXX series is a great and very capable platform. However their relatively early age means they are not quite considered vintage to many people, and therefore not as many people looking for them as compared to JRX or XX series. That is just my 2 cents.

Re: Stadium Blitzer rebuild

Before spending $30 for a parts tree to get another crack prone piece, I did a little experimenting. I removed the unsupported (crack prone) section of the tower with a belt sander. I then drilled and through tapped it to M3. I then moved the brace to the inside of the shocks and attached everything...

Re: Stadium Blitzer rebuild

Got some parts and hardware in, so I was able to do a little. Final revision of the rear tower. Ran 40mm long screws through the front and secured the rear with Tamiya 5mm ball connectors (female thread). Those same connectors are used at all shock ends and camber links. 20210724_192621.jpg I had pl...
