Re: Need pics of Team Ugly quick change battery setup.

Hey Zod....maybe it's just me, but in lookin back on your Snuffy/Ralph Burch Jr. post...it seems there was a battery tray that slid/locked into the aluminum guide rails, tough to see on the b&w burch photos, but it looks like there was a tray on the hyperdrive hanging just over the left side of ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

8 months worth of buying while overseas.....finally made it back to the U.S. to get all the goodies! If I'd have gotten all this for Christmas back in 1987 I'd have been suspicious that my parents might've won the lottery or somethin  20240625_020806-min.jpg 20240625_020821-min.jpg 20240625_020...

History/Tribute to Bob "Bullet" Light

The only 3 time consecutive 1/10th scale U.S. On-Road National Champion ('87,'88,'89)...as far as I recall. Sadly passed away this past May 18, 2024. For those that didn't know, just thought the group might appreciate the history. https://teampowerproducts.com/blogs/news/bob-bullet-light-long-winnin...

Re: What is it about 1/8th buggies that makes them less appealing vintage-wise

Just as the topic says. I personally never really ran an 1/8 buggy in a race but they always seemed to me the cool kid's class back in the day but I hardly even see anyone rebuilding old ones. So what is it about them that makes them less appealing? There's a big following for 1/8th off-road on the...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finished my DIY bumper....thanks to everybody who chimed in on my last post....score and snap method won the day....followed up with dremel, hand sand, vice/heat gun for a 35deg. kick up. Came out better than I thought....but think it might be time to invest in a mini band saw for the shop. 20240716...
