OG Ebay find
Just arrived. Nicer than I even hoped. I'm chasing a childhood want that I never got then.
Got a few others on the way to make runners out of. I'm scared to even take this one apart

Re: Looking for specs on some of the early Bolink motors
Ran across this little baby today. It has the correct early Bolink logo on it, but I have never seen this motor on a car that I can remember.

Repairing brushed motor ESCs
I have been hunting for a nice Tekin Titan ESC and took a chance on an untested unit. It passes power to the steering servo and the light indicates that the throttle calibration works, but it won't turn a motor. Does anyone know of someone that does ESC repairs? Any personal experience with their wo...

Got the Turtle Labs workstation today. I didn't waste any time filling it up with tools and putting it to work.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Found some better looking springs, and installed them with locators and cups from Frankentruck. Servo, motor, and gear cover installed. ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Piddling around before work. Another trip through the boxes netted some Novak electronics, an NER-2X and 410-M5. Also made some motor leads and tidied up the servo wire. Kinda-sorta reminds me of the old Novak add, which is the image of what I think a RC10 should look like. I guess it made an impres...

Hello From Michigan
Hey everyone! I've been into RC cars my whole life. I used to hit up the coolest hobby shops with my dad in the 80's, and have fond memories of watching indoor carpet oval racing. I thought those cars were the coolest things in the world back then. We didn't have a lot, and buying one of those was o...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
This cool M&Y motor arrived today. It has the slot car sized brushes but with full hoods. It has brush screw heat sinks. It also has little tabs that appear to be just for capicitors. What a neat little motor. . PXL_20230202_204820081.jpg . PXL_20230202_205020509.jpg . PXL_20230202_204942641.jpg
