Re: Batteries???
If you are set on using that charger, Amazon does have some loose sub c nicad cells. I’m pretty shocked actually.

Re: Batteries???
It looks like there are still Tamiya nicd packs available. I don't know if they are still making them or if they are just still on the shelves. I have a couple Onyx nicd packs that I bought a couple years ago but it doesn't look like they are still available. I had bought them so that I could contin...

Re: Batteries???
There are a couple saddle lipos that have that indentation on the bottom shaped like the subc cells molded in....i saw one at the onroad track this winter. next time i am there i will look and see what it is...if its still there. As far as your vintage esc and lipos it should be fine, just dont run ...

Re: Batteries???
I second the thought on NiMh... they may be about the only way to go for you in the near term. I too was a racer from the same era... and had packs from Sanyo 1200's, up through the 1400-1500's, and quit racing shortly after the 1700 SCRC's became huge. Funny thing... of all the packs I ran and buil...

Re: Batteries???
Funny thing... of all the packs I ran and built... for MY setup, I had a couple 1400 packs that just "felt" right. Perfect punch, charge characteristics, and easy peasy maintenance. I second that about the 1400's. I had my favorite battery as well and it was a Sanyo 1400SCR saddle pack. I...

Re: Tires?!
I have BSR wheels and tires on a couple cars. They were available and reasonably priced, which fit my needs.
Also check CRC. They have foams but the RT1 tires look awesome.

Re: Tires?!
RJ Speed legend wheels and tires will fit and work fine. Probably the most affordable. For a runner you might look at the CRC rubber tires, they are life changing. If you have old wheels kicking around, check with gone bananas racing skinz (on Facebook) they will mount up fresh foams and true them f...

RC12LW back on the track?
Hello, This winter, when tidying my attic, I found back my old toys including a RC12LW I bought in 1993 when I was a teenager. This car almost never ran, maybe 100m of test drive in my parent's house driveway. The box later suffered from a flood in my parent's cellar but, fortunately, the car was st...

Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists
Futaba used to offer these two spec lists for their older discontinued receivers and servos. Now they're only available through the Internet Archives site. That's a bit of a pain. So I decided to edit them a bit, and post them here for easier reference. FutabaDiscreceivers.png FutabaDiscServos.png

Re: 1/10 Pan Car - MRC PRO-RACING (Inox A2 version)
HI All !!! I took the time to assemble the new chassis tonight, it fits almost exactly in place of the original one, but there's really nothing to complain about. When reassembling, I took the opportunity to put washers in some places to make it more consistent with the rest and I changed the screw ...

Re: Novak 410-HPc score/question
The JR plug will plug into a Futaba J slot. The white wire goes to the side with the tap.
Just be sure that it isn't pinned for the early Airtronics plug.
