Re: What your workstation looks like?
This desk was left behind by the previous homeowner, probably because it weighs a ton. It works well enough. The best feature is a slide out tray above the drawers. It is the perfect place to put a manual, tools, a cheeseburger, a beer, whatever while I have my work spread out in front of me. It has...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got the plates mocked up for my RC150, and printed just for testing purposes. I will change around the openings on the radio plate to match the actual equipment used. Hope these become the first pieces I get cut on my cheap CNC.

Re: Robb's Garage
The AE TF10. I just wanted to build a long, dual deck, TF AE based car, so I did this. I feel like I rushed the paint, and want to revisit this in the future to top it off more correctly. tf10 build 1.jpg TF10 BUILD 11.jpg TF10 BUILD 16.jpg TF10 BUILD 18.jpg TF10 DONE 2.jpg TF10 DONE 1.jpg

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I took a couple of pics while out getting my steps in today, on a trail along a kinda side area along the James River, just south of Richmond, Va. There are parts of the river here that used to be part of the original James River, but over time, more direct "gaps" were cut in to straighten...

Repainted RC12L
Older RC12L body from a purchase a while ago. Not really sure the manufacturer of the body.
Repainted with somewhat vintage theme.
The AE decals were original to the body, might need a few more though.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Won these two chargers at an online auction for $10.
When I started back in the day I had the same as the right one in the picture.
Goes straight into the collection.

Re: Associated RC300 1/8 scale project No. 2
Some rework needed for building the front end. Same thing as experienced at the kit front end already. King pins have a too tight fitting and need a slight reaming of the holes at the steering arms. But not too much, as the holes should be slightly tighter as with the kit version. So the ball bearin...

Re: RC150 Build - My First AE 1/8 Nitro Onroad Car
I finally got my cheap CNC to start playing ball by simply lying to it about certain parameters. :D I have to tell it that bits are smaller than they actually are so that it will cut further, and after more testing, this works just fine. I need to see if there is a possibility that I can write this ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
big day for me. I've been looking for NOS XL2P for several years. For many years now I've been working on a copy of my exact RC10L setup from the late 80's using mostly new parts. This was the last piece to the puzzle.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I felt like the Tekin buggy needed a gold nose plate and shocks for the gold ESC and motor plate. And black front shock tower.
