One question about flipping the gearbox around to do a mid motor. Isn't a reverse rotator motor needed, or a 0 degree timing motor that can be run reverse polarity for driving forward? I've always flipped the top shaft direction when I do a mid motor to keep motor rotation in the normal direction. ...

I find the wick works best when it's slightly tinned, don't cut the copper braid off at clean copper but where it starts to discolor from previous wicking.
