Factory Works SRB X2 project

Machined delrin cases for SRB are finally here, and I had some bearing holders machined as well so I can offer the Tamiya version of the trailing arm kits. I'll have both on the website in a few days. To test the gearbox I made up some trailing arms for lay down shocks (as I lack any vintage roll ba...

Re: Economic Viability of an R/C Track

To address these concerns and make the track sustainable, here are some recommendations according to AI: If doctors can perform surgeries from different continents, why not R/C racing!? While the hardcore racers may not love having a lot of kids around, someone said it best bout how important it is...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I want to deeply thank Corally's technical support for reacting very quickly to my call for help regarding missing parts in a SSX12 kit.

Big up to Stefan for his responsiveness and his passion for RC!!!

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

When Revtech made these motors, it seems like it would be odd for them to have a label where they called it 'classic'. My guess would be the classic label was added later by a collector or seller. Anyone see a label like this on any other Revtech motors? How about other Revtech motors with an EPIC e...

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

Regarding Revtech motors you have to keep in mind there are actually two different Revtech companies. The original Revtech company was started and owned by Neil McCurdy. When he went to work as the motorbuilder for Trinity, Revtech was sold to Ernie Provetti. In my mind these motors are not 'real' R...

Re: An unending series of correlated pictures

Moral standards aside, this movie definitely defines the 80's. I prefer the lower graphic by Mr. Hand's ear but the top version is what people first saw in theaters in August of 1982.

Gold GT

I wasn’t the first, and soon won’t be the last…. I started this build a good while ago along side my gas buggy. Just ran out of clean hardware then lost motivation. I wanted to wait until the truck was finished but it’ll be old news after everyone has a gold chassis. Now that Associated is releasing...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I had to wrestle this from the clenched fists of USPS today. For some reason they refused to deliver it and made me go pick it up. It's a very cool Novak NESC 2. Thanks JosephS! . 1000016694.jpg . I think I know what's wrong with it. It looks like a previous previous owner spliced in a piece of Losi...
