Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

For race handout stock motors they used to add a little pookey so the motor couldn't be opened up for tampering without there being evidence.

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

There are a lot of Trinity stock motors that are relabeled for other brands.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

The 1/12 has a resemblance to some of the chassis in this listing:

It looks like RC10L front suspension was swapped onto it though.

Re: Frankentruck's RC10 Graphite Coffin Buggy Clean-up

Some of the basics showing up. Wheels, tires, shock towers. . 1000015506.jpg . Actually, I think I prefer these rear wheels. The TQ-22 tires were previously glued to 1 piece wheels but came off with relatively little dried glue left on the tires. I might have to put some 3 piece front wheels on too....

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

So back to the original question, does anyone know if Gonzo/Wimpy labeled made any green motors, or is it a mislabeled Green Machine 2? There are lots of brands that used Trinity stock motors, or at least the cans and endbells. That specific green motor, the label looks to me like a computer printe...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I'm now a painted body shell away from being a once a month parking lot spec class racer (ignoring that the ESC and rx aren't installed yet 😁). I feel like maybe I can get away with using an AM radio with this. Otherwise I'll stick a Traxxas 2.4 rx in there. This TT-02R kit made me appreciate how mu...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Received a nice package of goodies from teshreve's vintage RC yard sale. As a bonus, it also included partial instructions! Observing the dished out corner will be especially useful. 😂 . 1000015535.jpg . Pro-Line has the 7092 tires labeled as being for RC10 and JRX2, but I think RC10T and JRXT would...

LiPo charger recommendation for DC power input

Does anyone have experience with using a DC power source (like a car battery) and a LiPo battery charger? My little Tenergy TB6B didn't like it's 12v input being hooked to a 12v input source. It looks like I disconnected it before I cooked it and left the magic smoke out, but it's going to be an AC ...
