Re: Trackmaster transmission

Hardened steel Factory Works outdrives drilled to size with a carbide drill bit and installed. It's nice to have this transmission complete.

Re: ** Factory Works Ten4.1 4x4 RC10 Conversion Kit Waffle **

It isn't even the running for free part. It costs Lowgear money for the server hosting service. There's monthly bills to pay to keep this place going.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I had to wrestle this from the clenched fists of USPS today. For some reason they refused to deliver it and made me go pick it up. It's a very cool Novak NESC 2. Thanks JosephS! . 1000016694.jpg . I think I know what's wrong with it. It looks like a previous previous owner spliced in a piece of Losi...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I cleaned up this NESC 2. 1000016694.jpg The primary issues with it were the wiring. Bypassed power switch, broken receiver negative wire at the grommet, bad receiver wire splice joints, loose/bad battery power connector, bad motor connector wiring. After wiring cleanup, a new grommet, a new switch ...

Re: Did I buy a worlds car?

The original 1994 front wheels were 3 piece and rear were 1 piece. https://img2.associatedelectrics.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10/Worlds_Car/WorldsCar_manualc.pdf 1/4" rear axles are 1/4" where the bearings go and smaller size where the wheels go. 1000016735.png 3/16" rear axles are co...

Re: =RPM ULTRAMOLD=

I liked the bomb pop idea for sure but there really is nothing like a fresh white Ultramolded 8) I also think the bomb pop would have been excellent if the chassis was blue white red and everything attached to the front was blue, everything attached to the back was red. ...and it was the classic re...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I like the slogans that Tamiya has on the buggy spoilers. Being Nuts is Neat, Hoppin Mad, Anytime Baby, etc.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2025 ** - Winner - coxbros1

It's cool to see the differences between the Ten4.1 and B44, and the 834 and '91 Works. Different generations of 4WD design for Associated and Yokomo based buggies all gathered together. This is a serious collection of apples vs oranges entries this month. 👍
