Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

Team Blue Groove makes a full length undertray. They are available outside eBay too.

PRC also makes them.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

I would have recommended Penguin but they say their RC10 underpan does not fit the aluminum tub even though it looks like it should fit.

Re: G E A R B O X E S

If there is a gearbox thread (there are several), it would probably be in the pages here: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewforum.php?f=38 If I started a new gearbox thread, that's where I would put it. For a 6 gear transmission in a runner, I would do the outdrive bearing mod: https://www.rc10talk.com/v...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple

Ooooo.... the chained Frog run video is good, but so is the home printed Zerda's run video. If only the Froggy and the Zerda could meet. Very unlikely to ever happen, but would be an awesome showdown!

Re: RC10 B1 Mid Motor Laydown Buggy

Video added of first run. It would almost run on the grass with street tires so I changed over to some spikes for a few passes across the lawn. The front end surfs over the grass. . https://youtu.be/jbBMHtxUxZI?feature=shared . 1000015087.jpg . On pavement, it seems like I need to get more wei...

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025

I had to vote for the truck with a servo mount for a bulkhead. It's so off the wall that it works just fine. I remember a couple years ago when Russ Winn showed us his servo mount rear bulkhead. It is an excellent idea! Voters, just a reminder that before you hit Submit, you get to select 2 entries...

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!

It is cool, I just don't know what I'd do with it? I feel like my TC3 grew 2 more wheels and a huge body shell!
If there was some sort of lower profile open wheel or wedge body that fit the chassis, then maybe. It's really something though.

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!

Is there any reason this should have been expected? Is there a plane coming next? How about a boat? If they do a hovercraft, I am so getting one! Do I have to buy the truck to make sure the hovercraft project goes forward?

Re: My graveyard of carcasses has arrived

For the chassis with most of the anodizing missing, Easy Off oven cleaner and a scrub pad can take care of the rest of it if desired. Nasty fumes need good ventilation, wear good tough gloves, etc.

Re: My graveyard of carcasses has arrived

Extra holes and enlarged holes seem to significantly take away value from a chassis, unless it's really well done weight reduction holes. Sometimes a holey chassis can get a lot of interest. The part way cut down sides aren't a big value impact if done well. Right now there's so much new re release ...
