Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Dropped a bitchin' motor in. 87/17 combo on a SWB chassis. Ready to rip it on an ultra short track (behind the parts wall, thru the secret door of the LHS, on a Friday night in 1992). Steering would be tough though.

The history of Sees Precision Machine Works goes back to 1986 when brothers Andrew and Anthony Sees opened Little Engines Inc. in their parents’ home garage. Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches
Are you doing any of the old racer tricks, like clamping the leaves in front of the axle and un-clamping the rear? Sorry, I didn't see your post. Probably not at this stage as I bought a set of tramp rod brackets which sort of 4 link the rear. It's a pretty simple but clever idea, I like the fact t...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Picked up a Wild Willy just for the tires, and paid about what the tires are worth these days. It will end up being a project at some point in the future as I have always wanted a M38, but for now, it is just a set of tires.

Re: TQ10 resto
Thanks! I decided to forego painting, but did apply a low gloss clearcoat I have on hand for HO slot car bodies to clean up some sanding scratches. It turned out pretty decent . Fairly glossy when wet. 20240222_192243.jpg But loses some gloss as it dries. 20240223_165016.jpg 20240223_164945.jpg Time...

Reedy Pro 19 Quad Mag motor
I've had this about eleven years now. This is the Pro hand wound version of the Spec 19 motor. These Quad Mag motors are really smooth to turn over by hand. 1.jpg 2.jpg One interesting thing of note is that the Pro sticker has been placed over the Spec sticker. You can just see the Spec sticker peek...

Re: The dog thread
I just can't do it all anymore. I'm teaching Eddie starting with tinkercad and he will be doing my cad work in the future so I can concentrate on more important work.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Road tripped for the FBMP local deal of the day. Ad simply stated "RC Parts - $100," then had to go ten pics into the description to see the 10. 4.5 hours of driving, but I am good with it, and networked a new contact looking out for me.

Made a mount for the ESC.
Also helps to secure the servo a little.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
The stampede’s VXL 3S was glitching. I went to pull the motor wires from the esc and the female connector came off the computer board of the ESC. I was able to easily disassemble and repair it. https://i.postimg.cc/T35gg4q8/BFD9820-C-279-B-47-DD-8-BC9-A0-C583137-EE8.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/ht3JybsL...
