Well after rattling around a bunch of different paint ideas, and looking at Vintage Funco race buggies I decided on a simple paint scheme for my RC10. Didn't feel like dealing with liquid mask this time around so decided to do things like I would have done way back when, using masking tap and spray ...

So that Futaba ESC that went up in smoke was 100% my fault. Reverse polarity is a bad thing. Oops. That's ok though, I really don't like the single speed reverse and wanted Lipo protection. Supposedly a new never used Futaba T2PL (has no signs of any wear whatsoever, so I believe it), 16x2 4WD Off-road Mega motor, and Speedworks Blueprint Series 25x1 "Dirt oval stock" red label.

An Invader Oval Racer rear pod, a Twisters motor, and three MSCs from one FBMP deal. Hot Trick towers and battery straps from Factory Works (chassis for color reference, and the match is fantastic!), and a plethora of B&R motors from Frankentruck.

A nice little 10T care package from Factory Works.
