Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing

Here is the direction I'm headed on the front end. One printed part. And even that might end up being machined or molded

Re: AstroFlight Model 205 ESC

The letter that accompanied the speed controller is very cool. I remember AstroFlight for being big on drag racing and tractor pulling back in the day so it was interesting to see the paperwork discussing boat and plane applications. Not terribly surprising for the controller to be sluggish as Astro...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing

Got a little further tonight. Redesigned the steering cranks for some extra throw, and designed a new belt tensioner that should be a lot easier to use. The final piece will be machined aluminum. The slotted portion retains a nut so to adjust you just loosen the screw slightly and you don't have to ...

Re: RC10B1.5 resto mod

Front end assembly, pretty much plug-n-play stuff here. Klein front arms/rpm worlds width, wide gt axles, 25° caster blocks, jconcepts ball bearing steering, lunsford turnbuckles, rpm ball cups, associated servo saver (tamiya hi-torque copy), rpm mini front bumper.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

I got a lot done on my workshop project today. Inside got painted, and lights got hung. One part of the project that ended up happening out of necessity, was replacing the exterior doors. They knew their time was up, and as soon as I started into this project, they literally started falling apart, e...

Pukka Parts SRB

I found Pukka Parts on Facebook, with this SRB conversion kit. It's more or less an MIP style setup.

Really nicely done stuff, a combo of frp and printed parts.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Watching bad CSI shows while finishing off stickers and wings…I have some more research to do on the shape of the wing tabs, I didn’t quite get them and the wing needs to be farther forward but at least now I have a new starting point.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Excited to receive this gem of a Kyosho Pro-X yesterday. Been waiting about 3 years to find one of these that didn't cost a fortune to go along with the Pro-XRT. Re: Personal lap timer stand

And viola ! Looks almost like the factory one. Not perfect but definitely looks better than the brick, although, the brick is still probably more stable and robust, lol. I know the newer personal lap timers are better with an app for your phone and whatnot but I like my semi-nostalgic set up. 202407...
