Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Finally scored a really nice Duratrax Powerline motor (17x3 2wd Off-road version), Novak Tempest Max with some 2-cell Li-Po doodad (very much unnecessary in this household), and one of them cool clear case Shredder receivers.

Picking up the new-to-me ride Sunday morning, rust free 1970 Mach 1. And new wheels and tires on their way.

Traxxas Cat

in 1987 Traxxas would bring their second vehicle to market, a 1/10th 2wd electric off-road buggy simply called, the Cat. Just as with their previous 4wd Wild Cat Traxxas turned to Blue Bird Model Mfg. Co. Ltd. of Tiawan to import this new 2wd model. Blue Bird supplied Traxxas with their version of t...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!

Soooo.... What's the deal with that Chevette? :D I see that it has some equipment that would suggest it's likely not powered by the original 1.4 or 1.6L anymore... I LOVE drag racing! :D :D :D My First car was a very clean ‘87 Monte Carlo SS. In good condition they’re $15k+. Another one I want to r...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - August 2024 ** - Winner - kandkhobby13

The year was 1987. I got my second ever hobby grade r/c, the Tamiya Thunder Shot for Christmas. This is of course a re-release, but the CD is original, received the same Christmas. Jammed it with my cousins while we built the T Shot. Raced it hard and lost a lot before getting my TQ10, which I also ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - August 2024 ** - Winner - kandkhobby13

I started with an ORIGINAL AE Graphite chassis, and built up from there to have a 'modernized' durable racer. 13mm Kashima Fox shocks, 3.5mm ball cups & Titanium turnbuckles, B6 rear wing mount, JC Racing Retro case with a B6 gear diff, Factory Works steering kit, Dragon Punch RC shorty Lipo mou...

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!

Ignore the dust. Here is a pic of my DS with the HPI body on it. Mounting holes aren't aligned for this car. The width is ok, the wheelbase is a little short but I didn't cut it for this body. It just runs a bit on the front and back so you should be able to trim to fit. 17229068566092.jpg 172290685...
