Re: RC10DS nitro rebuild as electric

Frankentruck wrote: Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:55 pm It's not like I'll be cutting, grinding, etc, just part swapping. If I come across a good deal on an electric DS, then the nitro probably stays nitro. But that Exide body is kinda egging me on to electrify.

The Ugly Truckling JRXT

After building my Jrx2 series buggies and setting aside parts for another build or two, I still have a decent sized pile of used Losi parts. So I have decided to take the worst parts that are still functional…you know..the scratched, faded, rusty, crusty and warped parts that you wouldn’t be able to...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Great condition Novak GTX esc, and a Duratrax Spike esc which was soldered to the Speed Gems 2 Onyx motor. Detached them to test each individually. Was a bit concerned something out of the bunch wasn't going to be in working condition, but sure enough all work great. Resized_20220919_124554_758.jpeg

PDI Zeta Drag ESC with programmer for a near future period top fuel build. It looked like it was pretty nice, but it actually looks unused.

Bolink Round Tracker: Project Awesome Bill From Dawsonville

Picked up a Bolink Round Tracker a little while back just to add to the pan car collection. I picked the car up mainly because many of the nylon pieces are engraved with "minicars" which I believe was a Swedish brand bought out by Bolink, but the fact that the markings are still there peak...

I think it was a label like the ones i have..... the POWER is at the top whereas on the devil logo ones it is below the timing marks.

Re: Futaba AM radio and Airtronics compatible receiver?

You'll probably need an Airtronics crystal in the receiver, and a Futaba transmitter crystal in the transmitter - on the same band/frequency. If memory serves...one is positive shift, and the other is negative shift (don't remember which). But it's a matter of the crystal actually functioning in the...
