Re: New dewd

Well, this old RC10 buggy is D-U-N done! Finally got the body and wing painted, wing mount wire bent up and all of it trimmed and adjusted for fit. I freakin love this thing. Thanks to everyone who provided help and advice along the way!

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Schumacher Viscous Drive. Been hunting one for awhile. It's like a Losi Hydra drive, but cooler because its aluminum. I'm probably going to install it on a Losi or RC10.

Funny how sometimes all the things you’ve ordered arrive the same day… Today I received a JRXT body, H-arm conversion kit, Hot Trick goodies… https://i.postimg.cc/qBLqFWdg/4-FE63-A2-F-F465-4-EF4-A907-605061-D10-F25.jpg And a brand new Kyosho 240ST for my Maxxum FF. https://i.postimg.cc/5yntFQm8/A94-...

Re: ID this RC10T

That high of ratio ehh? I was thinking around 21-22t. It’s. Reedy radon 15t motor The original 10T has a 2.25:1 transmission ratio, while newer trucks have 2.4 or 2.6 ratios. So you can't directly compare the pinion size to that of newer trucks. As a general baseline, something in the 10-11:1 overa...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

This weekend I've been at the Dayton Hamvention, the big amateur radio fest, and found this HPI RS4 3 SS in the flea market. It is really clean and looks like it was only run a few times. The engine is stuck from not being run in 20 years, but hopefully I can free it up with a rebuild. Also has a HP...

Re: Early Edinger rebuild

Turning out to be a real slow cooked dish. Nice to not rush through the build and enjoy the adventure - after all there is no hurry with this one.
