Technically, the only difference is the ball diff on the EXT Gold. I think the regular EXT has the same gear diff than the non EXT...

Nylon PA12 should work fine... That said, you must pay attention to thickness : make sure you have at least 1mm thickness for the material (I'm not sure for the first part you show in the center)...
