Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
I have uninstalled Studio version 09, rebooted the computer and, using the link you have provided (thanks for that), I have installed version 08. The software has logged me in automatically after installation. On Device tab, My Device name is unselectable. bambu studio version 08.jpg Did you try to...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
Hope you will find a way to get this sorted, XLR8 On my side, there was a delivery attempt for the A1 mini yesterday, but it did not happened, as I was in the office and my wife was not home at that time. Another delivery attempt should happen today, and I'll work from home. It should arrive early a...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
I just started the A1 mini with the idea I would not use Bambu Handy app to do the pairing, just to try experience a bit if I could do something with Bambu Studio. I connected it to my Wifi (as I could key the wifi passcode on the screen), and then skip the user account connection. It asked me to ag...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
Anyway, has anyone experience adhesion problems with PLA or PTEG and have you heard about this new "super tack cool plate" from Bambu? https://store.bambulab.com/products/bambu-cool-plate-supertack Here's a review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swf1sqWSg0c&t=2s At only $14.99, it lo...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
The Bambulab A1 mini is finally here... I had to go to the post office to get it, as no second attempt delivery... Anyway, got it during my lunch break, and unboxed it while my wife was preparing the lunch... I was only switched on once my work day was over. Once switched on, the calibration was sta...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
... Beside this, not much to say about this print : the quality is very similar to what was printed from the X1C and in terms of speed, it's not that different. ... Perfect! This is what we were hoping for. :D I'm just thinking that time wise it is 18 mins for the benchy on the A1 mini while 17 min...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
I think we all agree; speed is nice but what we really want is overall quality. Your initial print appears nearly identical to what has been printed on X1. If it requires an extra minute or two, I can live with that. Can't wait to see your TPU test prints from the A1. :D Well, I'm reluctant to say ...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
This is planned for a TPU highly flexible and elastic and from the feedbacks I got from a friend used to print this type of material, it might be required... I'll try this way, if it doesn't work or unwind the filament, I'll change the design... And for the ball bearing, I designed a printed one... ...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
I've actually tried to print the bearing, but it did not work. In the first version, the rolls were not having enough surface to the bed to adhere well, and once one is gone, the print is going to be a nightmare. I stopped the print before it went nuts. https://i.imgur.com/pPCzlit.jpeg I modified it...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
I put a lot of efforts to make this easy to use and print, with a few modifications in the parts to remove the supports requirement during the print. At the end, I had only one part where it was still required. I included some material to be removed post print to avoid supports. I also included smal...

My daughter want a phone case (she tends to abuse of them :-) ) https://i.imgur.com/RZWoRxt.jpeg It's good time to start a first TPU test, with a 95A shore TPU. It's from Sunlu. It is the typical TPU you would find almost everywhere. I can print it on the X1C from the external spool holder with the ...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
Print was almost flawless... I'm saying almost as the slicer is possibly a little bit optimistic on the bridge length as the volume button opening had some defects... It doesn't generate any supports there, I guess I should have paint them. https://i.imgur.com/eMgOzg5.jpeg That said, the result is g...

The result is really encouraging, and this means we may have another solution than Resin to print tires, because at the end it feels like the rubber of a tire...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
Prints are helping in many areas unrelated to RC... The winter is the period we do what we call "raclette" with melted cheese... There is a tool for this, and everytime I used it in the past, I complained about the nuts : in the kitchen, you rarely have a wrench at hand, and tighten nut by...
