Wheels and tyres look good too, plus it also has a new pair of rims and some new in packet red ball joints as well....

Re: Hirobo 44B

Very good data. Thanks a lot! The most difficult is to get the internal profile right. I should get the complement data when I get my hands on my friend's depleted tires... It requires to unmount the tires and use a tool to measure the thickness in different points of the profile (below the picture...

Re: Hirobo Bearcat SS - Let's start something else...

That's coming along well :D I use Elmer's purple washable glue stick for everything these days , I have the same Creality glass bed and it's worked well when new but did need constant cleaning with isopropyl alcohol , now I just use the glue stick , it's always for me the circles it prints for holes...

Re: Hirobo Bearcat SS - Let's start something else...

Looks pretty good , it could do with just a touch of rework on the bonnet bulge , maybe just a little lower and more chamfered but good enough as it is .

Re: Hirobo Bearcat SS - Let's start something else...

Suspension axles pretty soft, I've straightened a few with pliers or on a small anvil. If by fixations you mean the small split pins I made some out of single core telephone wire wrapped around a pin to make a loop . They only need to resist pulling out with moderate force.

Re: Hirobo Bearcat SS - Let's start something else...

1mm split pins on eBay are cheap as chips and easy to find , can't see the point of messing about making them .

Re: Hirobo Bearcat SS - Let's start something else...

I rubbed a bit of silicon grease on tyres. All I can say is it doesn't seem to have done any harm.

That's looking very clean :!: Beautiful photos and well documented , as a professional mechanic you often wonder if the person writing the instructions has ever worked on a car
