Re: RC10B4 and RC10B4.1 differences. Always something to lea
Yellow D, as far as I know, that is correct. Makes them easy to spot. Determining the difference between the B4 and non World's B4.1 has proven much more difficult. I picked up a clean as advertised, B4.1 Factory Team tonight so I'll be able to look more closely soon. To be honest, looking at the tw...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I would love another JR-T. Built one from parts a few years ago. Built my first in 1988.
I could build another right now, NIB would be fantastic.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I really really really wanted this. It cost more than my typical acquisitions, and I'm sure a cheaper example will come up right away because I bought it (actually, a cheaper one already did almost immediately). The chassis is in beautiful shape and I couldn't be happier with it. This will definitel...

Re: Finally got a JRX-T
If you want to run into then get the Shapeways 5 link , home printed eBay parts can be a mixed bag and won't be as strong , if it's a shelf car then not such a problem .

Thanks, yes it's gonna be a runner. Granted it won't get run a lot and won't be raced but it will get driven. Which is better the...

Re: Finally got a JRX-T
That should work. I haven't done it on the ghaphite chassis but MIP made a steering kit that used 4-40 screws through 8-32 countersunk holes for the RC-10GT that I used for years, though that was an aluminum chassis. Just make sure that the base of the cone where the threads start doesn't end up abo...

Re: Brushless/Lipo vs Brushed/ NiCd
Ok, so first off I know these are like apples to oranges, but.... I just started working on rebuilding a JRX-T runner and I'm already think of what to power it with. I want to go with modern electronics, but keep the truck a similar speed to what it was back in the day. So what I'm asking is... Wha...

Re: Brushless/Lipo vs Brushed/ NiCd
Like JosephS mentioned, it'll be a range. But that range will more likely be 17.5 to 21.5 as far as comparison rpm wise to a quality 27T brushed.

Re: Brushless/Lipo vs Brushed/ NiCd
To help with your gear calculations.. The Losi LRM gear box is 2.18:1. The JRXT came with an 86 tooth spur and the manual recommended a 19 tooth pinion for a stock motor. That would give you a FDR of 9.87:1

My JRX2 restore/race build
Hey all, I picked up a JRX2 a couple weeks back originally with the intention of just restoring it but now I’ve decided to get her running in the local 17.5 class. First, a little backstory about myself: I started racing off road Production class with my box stock RC10 in 1986 (IIRC) here in Las Veg...
