Re: Traxxas karma?

In Traxxas' defense, their lawyers are too busy terrorizing the rest of the industry to waste time reading import restrictions, hazardous material handling guidelines, etc.

If I am being honest, I think the dangers of {insert item here} are often overblown.

Re: for the west coasters- Team Associated Vintage Championships in Vegas Oct 2025

Why would anyone want to go to Las Vegas, NV when they could go to New Albany, IN instead?

I spent the last few years making excuses for never taking the wife to Vegas. Maybe the time has come to let her have her wish.... :D

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

All this snow looks like it's begging for a Clod to go romping through it! ❄️🛻 As fun as that sounds, clods don't work in snow more than an inch or two deep, they're too heavy and simply sink into unpacked powder. At least, that is what mine did back in the day. Still had a fun day, though, just ha...

Re: It's Top Cat time!

That looks like a hasty assembly mistake. I wonder if the car was apart and the PO put it back together quickly to sell. The front arm mounts are on backwards. Easy fix. I can't think of a reason to do that on purpose. It could be done to widen the track, but extra spacers would be needed in the bac...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Bought a Tamiya Mini body from a local source, and it arrived today. Mini Body.jpg Interestingly, it's the older M01 style body, which takes add-in grille and bumpers... I was expecting the later style, with these details already in the lexan. I guess that's a good thing, right???? Now, got to find...

Re: Kyosho RC Sports Racing

Parking lot racing needs to make a comeback. Many folks don't have viable local RC tracks, but everyone has a big empty parking lot they could terrorize on weekends.

Re: It's Top Cat time!

Technically, the first 2WD offroader from Schumacher was the T402, which was a CAT without drive to the front wheels. Apparently it was atrocious in its day, but might actually go pretty well on a modern track due to the mid motor layout. The Top Cat was the first "from the ground up" 2WD ...
