The hobby isn't the same as it was in the late 80's and 90's. It has become way more corporate and lost the magic that it once had. I'm just glad I grew up in the hobby when I did.

You don't apply the decals before the clear coat? From what I was reading, the Tamiya decals are high quality, and already shiny. Clear over low quality decals makes them look better.
