Re: Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck rebuild (Team version)

Little over two years later, body's done. But need to order another decal set because I botched a couple of the stripe decals. Haven't painted a r/c body since '95, so not too disappointed with the turnout. Resized_20240912_205421_1726192670673.jpeg Resized_20240912_205253_1726192674617.jpeg Resized...

Legend has it that PAM has been used to control brake dust on various components in racing applications.

Your 3 hour estimate does not include the 11 day site-seeing trip across America USPS trucks often take. Cue the Benny Hill theme.... "Your Item has shipped and will be arriving soon"... https://scontent-ord5-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/83027116_1525508277601697_281650842736525312_n....

Re: Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck rebuild (Team version)

Body mounted. Really want to remove the suspension arms and soak them in 12% peroxide (in lieu of the 3%) for a day or two to see if I can get better whitening results. Resized_20240918_170609_1726697213648.jpeg Resized_20240918_170633_1726697209577.jpeg Resized_20240918_170904_1726697422722.jpeg

The late CE gold pan had a Viper body and a zebra mix of black and white nylon parts. It also had the 6 hole front shock tower. It could be that.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

My 5b clone arrived today, this was the one I got for $311 shipped but was coming by sea. Ended up a few weeks early, but still about a month and a half. Still, not at all disappointed, well worth saving the $100 or so in air freight. It's an absolute monster That’s a good price for it, I have a 36...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

It needs a little clean up but I'm really happy to get this. I like my faux coffin chassis custom builds but they only exist because the real thing was so hard to find. I have some plans for this one.

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10

It’s a nice addition. I just wish it came painted. I will never be able to do a box art body on this or even the RC10T. Do not despair, the kit comes will a full decal sheet so you'll only need to shoot one color. :D https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/460630709_541070471639364_36457...

If they did a Cliff Lett edition Team Moo buggy that would be really cool too. That also seems like it's long overdue.

Team Losi JRx Pro SE

in 1992 Team Losi's continual effort of improving their Jrx2 1/10 2wd electric off-road buggy would culminate with the release of its third iteration, the JRx Pro SE. Very nearly a new car the SE boasted a number of revisions over the Pro that were taken from the 1991 ROAR championship winning proto...

Re: Team Losi JRx Pro SE

Fun fact: The Pro SE body is recommended for use on the RPM Ultra Molded Worlds buggy which has some similarities to the Pro SE chassis design.

Frankentruck's RC10 Graphite Coffin Buggy Clean-up

I finally came across a coffin chassis RC10 graphite at a price I could stand to pay. It's already got a set of MIP 1/4" CVD and MIP bellcrank steering, but could use some minor clean up and a few additions. . 1000014798.png . 1000014818.png . 1000014820.png . 1000014819.png . To start with it ...
