Re: The dog thread

I'm trying to watch the Tyson fight and Cali is chewing on her beaver. I told her that Penthouse ended their Beaver Hunt section years ago, ... unfortunately. :?

Hand-wound motors

The ol' lady is watching something stupid, so it got me thinking about hand-wound motors. Has anyone ever made one? Is it possible these days? I have not googled this for the sake of conversation. I'd love to make one with a custom label. 8)

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I've had my cheap Amazon LiPo batteries losing mah life and it's made me think about how crappy a battery fire would be. I'm not sure the battery bags are good enough so I went with one of these. Holy LiPo lunchbox Bat Man!

In 1987 Kyosho released a 1/10 2wd electric off-road racing buggy called the Ultima, a model that would not only win them a World Title at the hands of Joel Johnson but live on through half a dozen future iterations. If you look closely they are hand engraved with Lightspeed, on the opposite side it reads nutdriver.
It really was different times back then.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I felt like the Tekin buggy needed a gold nose plate and shocks for the gold ESC and motor plate. And black front shock tower.

Re: RC150 Build - My First AE 1/8 Nitro Onroad Car

Bit of an informational post. If you are new to the RCXXX 1/8 onroad world, and you are getting into your first build, like myself, the whole metal fuel tank thing may get confusing, so I will share what I have learned so far. First off, the metal fuel tank was available on the series through the ea...

Schumacher XLS CAT T403 4.W.D. World Champion vintage replica kit

This appears to be an original IFMAR World Championship XLS CAT replica kit from Schumacher following their victory in 87. I took a chance at making this part of my collection. If any of you have come across such a kit let me know. I'm curious to know if they had one or many versions of their XLS CA...

Re: Yokomo Superhot Dog Fighter

If I may answer you (someone who has never raced this device or even seen it racing) Well, after reading and thinking about it, I sum it up like this: This adjuster debuted 1996 in YR-4-II touring car to increace front grip particularly at low grip surfaces by supporting chassis flex. 1997 this adju...
