Here is a little update on the XL. Gave up using the original battery clamps. Ended up with the short lipo posts (U7046) to accommodate low profile shorties. Straps are the U7234 for XLS and Procat. Just had a very brief trial run on carpet, but enough to give a very good impression and put a smile ...

Finished the last improvement today. Knocked up an undertray from 0.5mm PETG. It won't help performance, but I think it's necessary considering the position of the cells. They can take an awful lot of hits from debris if you aren't using a full width chassis. 1.jpg Fitted. Bloody marvellous I reckon...
