Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

Here I go again, doing weird stuff with this chassis. Designed up a scaled down replica of the Composite Craft top plate for the mini JRXT chassis. I had adjusted it to fit my relocated battery hold down but then noticed I had inadvertently made it nearly the same size as a shorty lipo. So behold, a...

Re: Rogue's JJ Ultima retrofuture edition

I ran a club race with it last Friday in 17.5 Stock buggy. I had to add a lot of weight to it to get it above the ROAR regulations. Tried to give it a little more droop to help with landing but it was still prone to bottoming out even with fairly heavy oil (45wt f 60wt r). If I don't land perfectly ...

Re: Lexan Body Trimming - Scissors or Sharp Blade?

I see a lot of spray paint cans there. We're going to need to see your ID to make sure you are 18 or older.

Schumacher CAT XLS Ad

The CAT XLS was an upgraded version of the Cat XL, which itself was a long wheelbase version of the original CAT (Competition All Terrain) buggy. Distribution in America was initially handled by Trinity as can be seen in this ad from 1988: 1988 Schumacher Cat XLS Ad.jpg Thanks to 1911Colt for the ph...

Re: RC pictures that make you happy

Drooled over this one.... Very cool. Starting to upload Schumacher ads to the scans section, chronologically, starting with this one. Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

I'm just walking around the house, making sure the latest buggy goes with me so I can gaze upon it. Nothing to see here. I'm not a weirdo.

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches

Still waiting on the driveshaft to be made..... I tried to get these stickers modified slightly but haven't had much luck with the local printers, so I gave up and decided to just put the originals on. They fit and look ok... Wonder if someone would get a chuckle if they noticed...... 20240308_23565...
