In addition to having springs that are too soft, the tiny front shocks are horrible leakers. A front shock upgrade is needed. Question for the experts: Which "version" are they re-releasing? Was there an original version with gold shocks and bushings? The XX chased away all of the AE buggies where I raced bitd, but there were always quite a few 10Ts racing. I don't recall seeing this combination. It's very cool ...
