This was meant to be a joke post but the spots filled up much more than I anticipated. If anyone needs a spot to enter I forfeit my spot.

Re: RC Top Faux CAT 10

I like the low slung sawed off look of that body, great candidate for this build…… I’d say to figure out a paint scheme that shows off the lay down front shocks maybe either clear or trans candy. It would be a shame to cover them up. We are thinking similarly on the paint scheme. Body is trimmed an...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - April 2024 ** - Winner - kcrisalli

Posting up a cool oddball this month, an early eghties Kyosho Toyota Hilux. You could get three versions of this platform, the Sand Skipper, VW Baja Bug and the Toyota Hilux. Special featsures of this platform is the gearbox with centrifugal clutch and pnaumatic tires inflated with a syringe (you ca...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Picked up this Schumacher Mission, was I a poor state, but after many hours it looks alot better. Just waiting for the postmail to bring me some new gears for my ko1001 servo and then I can test it out. I forgot how much I hate rebuilding Schumacher diffs of this age. Didn't help that the previous o...

Re: Kyosho 30615 - Tomahawk

There was still a few things to do on this car to call it done. Led connexion was done in the afternoon, after having a small issue with teh ESC and motor : once calibrated the motor would not run. I finally found the cause of the issue being the sensor cable. Once replaced this is now working fine....

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...

One of my work colleague knows i'm doing a lot of 3D printing and CAD activity. A few days ago, she contacted me and asked if I could do a part for her husband newly acquired Can-Am MY 2015. I told her I was not sure, but why not. And the following day in the office, her husband came to show the tri...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

I read that and my first thought was that they were not including it but I have convinced myself they are doing that for another reason- collectors don't want to open the box. This way they can see the manual without cracking the seal. I could well be wrong, but to not have a manual included would b...

Re: Hex axle option

B4 with B6 front end and Yokomo shocks. Ran it at the track with different tires. Really not bad. Full range of motion. Ran the middle holes on the arms and it was pretty much back to normal for this car. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rctech.net-vbulletin/2000x2000/80-img_0289_a878fad14e4a9021439...
