Re: Evaluation: Is this Marui Samurai even worth restoring?
Well... Lot of part very difficult to finds among those broken if you are searching for originals... I would start by tear it down to parts, and check the state of all metal parts and transmission parts. If everything is in proper state, there is easy printed 3D part from Dadio on shapeways and from...

Re: Evaluation: Is this Marui Samurai even worth restoring?
Well, 2 out of 3 diffs are basically destroyed. The rear diff has 2 trashed spider gears and the center diff is poorly epoxied together. also that transmission half with the epoxy is cracked in several places. I guess if I come across replacement diff gears at some point I'll rebuild this thing wit...

More wheels!
I have a project that needs a set of 5 slot mini mag wheels. Jimmy at Dhawk was willing to work with me on making a custom set. They turned out excellent!

Traxxas TRX1 Modern Racer build
This will be a TRX1 built with modern electronics and setup for modern tracks. I am still trying to learn all of the intricacies of the TRX1 cars, but I know I lucked out with the donor car I bought for this build. The donor was built quite well, and had some really nice upgrades already. I could ha...

Re: Traxxas TRX1 Modern Racer build
I don't know these cars well, so this may be a dumb question. Is that the AE stealth transmission? Or was the Traxxas that similar? My first thought when I saw that was did Traxxas sue AE for pre-emptively copying their design  Hey. No, it's not a Stealth transmission. However it sure looks si...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
@RogueIV , if this was the one on eBay, I nearly pulled the trigger on the lot myself. Reason (or rather Christmas bills) restrained me.

@ RogueIV , if this was the one on eBay, I nearly pulled the trigger on the lot myself. Reason (or rather Christmas bills) restrained me. I don't know if it was on Ebay or not but I got this off a user on RCTech. It was kind of a impulse buy, I probably shouldn't have bought it but... On another no...

Re: Rats to Ritches (ebay GT rescues)
So I’ve had these wheels for a while, NIP. I finally decided they would go perfect with this blue splash body. All is going well until I go to put the bearings in the last wheel I try to mount. Somehow it appears RPM mismatched the wheels during packaging. I’m guessing maybe Losi? I don’t have any e...

Re: SG Coyote improvements
Here's a link to page two of Bormac's Coyote thread. The article about John Schweitzer's modified Coyote is on this page. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=18629&start=15 John used fibreglass to reinforce the suspension arms as they are incredibly flexible. Here's what I've done....
