Re: Traxxas TRX1 Modern Racer build
Thanks to both above replies. I have added this Factory Works top plate. The material is different to the chassis, and more glossy. I very lightly sanded it and blacked the edges to try to make it match better. Making clearance for the servo arm with the top plate in place is challenging. I had to u...

Tamiya Hornet with Good Year tires
This is my shelf display Hornet using the AMPRO adaptors for using Kyosho rims and Good Year branded tires.
My next project is to transfer the tires to an old school RC10 (I think the fronts and rears are a direct fit).
Do you eat persimmons in your family lol?

Re: Traxxas TRX1 Modern Racer build
The donor car came with this painted body. It's quite nice, but unfortunately not my favorite colors. I will be painting up a new body for it. I added the new Penguin wing.

nitro rustler to bandit mid kit bash
I put this up on rctech also but I wanted to see what you guys thought. Not an original idea just something I thought would be fun to mess with. img_20221215_225951_00fe48d05ce88d8641d6763678ca6c0d23bc527b.jpg 540 motor plate on amazon img_20221215_225945_530c3cf680234f0fcae264ec1a4c5868a4db91bf.jpg...

The RC10B3x Prototype
So a few days ago I found out about a car I had never heard of before, an RC10B3x. FB_IMG_1671071977619.jpg The car was run at the at the postponed 2001 Ifmar Worlds in 2002, and seems to have been raced at other tracks in 2002. Here is what Kurt Wenger mentioned on FB about it's specs: It was a new...

Building A RB10 From A DR10 Kit
The plan here was to build a kit form RB10. I am just not a RTR fan in general. I don't know the quality of the AE RTR electronics, but I tend to not trust RTR electronics usually. I like to be the one that torques things, adds the loc-tite and grease, and sands off the little nubs that are hitting ...

Re: GoMachV’s 3d printing thread
I got the itch to start from scratch on a conversion case. The last version I gave up on- the motor plate had to be rotated slightly and the holes couldn’t be very deep without hitting gears. Additionally I was able to really drop the diff and slide it forward with this new design. It bolts up to st...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Very happy to find another black can modified B&R. I had to trade my other one a few years ago, and have been searching for a replacement ever since. This one is even nicer!

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Whoa! That is a serious rubber band shooter! When I was a kid, we used our fingers. Actually hitting something was a special event to be celebrated. Your boy will be picking off flies at 50 paces with that beauty. LOL, that is the low cost one, the alloy ones are marvellous and beauti...
