Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got this Blackfoot wired up. Futaba receiver and servo, Novak Rooster, and Reedy 19T Quad Mag. Screenshot_20230415_231431_Gallery.jpg Made this shelf to mount the receiver inside the chassis and keep out some of the grass and sticks. Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
This finally arrived while I was on holiday. Already fitted the roll bar windscreen posts and front body mount before I took the pictures , now I just have to close all the new holes that Tamiya made in it to fit the re re chassis.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got this in the mail last night. I'ts a bunch of different JRX parts put together but lots of cool RPM goodies on it. Not sure on my plans for it yet, but might run it as is with different tires for the heck of it. IMG_20230415_153029844.jpg One of my 10T's has those same Losi tires on it, front an...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Dug out some spare clips and got the shocks built. Rebuilt a set of Traxxas "Big Bore" shocks (not really, but that's what they call them). Used some 3D printed collars from Frankentruck to allow the use of larger (and much more common) Traxxas Ultra springs. Then I installed them on my St...

Re: RC10 A+ Buggy Project
After a trial fit, it looks like I'll need to make a new sway bar to clear the shock mounts. I think the sway bar is important with this setup.

Re: RC10 A+ Buggy Project
I was always curious about the mono shock setups. Why were these so popular back in the day? Back then everyone was trying everything. The mono shock allowed the front end to rock back and forth to absorb some of the terrain. Didn't work everywhere for sure. Years later Dunn brothers used a dual sh...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Took my 10L for it's first test drive this morning. The rear tires break loose pretty easily with a big dose of throttle.

LRM A-3006 Diff Center Gear Differences?
Never seen this before and have had a lots of them. Triangle center? I could see how it would create less friction yet still support at this common area for melting?

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Just got a second mini JRXT. My LHS got this one in a few days ago and I always try to give them business when possible. So now I have #3350 & #3835.

Re: Making a carbon fiber chassis the beginner way (part2)
Great result. Notes: This build hit 2.1mm. Target 3.0 mm for flat chassis. 2.1 for tub style chassis. The resin saturation was good and very few pinholes I wonder if I revered the resin to epoxy ratio in my notes. Note: Having consistent resin issues. Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Jerry sent me some shocks for the FXT. Rebuilt them with new shafts (Arrma 45mm) and new seals.
