RC Top Faux Buff CAT 10

The RC10 has such a wide nose plate, it's just like it's made to be tinkered with. So why not do a lay down front suspension? . PXL_20230919_172801854~2.jpg . PXL_20230919_175111687.jpg . It bolts up nicely in place and works smoothly. The little front shocks seem to be the right stroke length. Not ...

Re: Old School Rocket Car Build

I think you sent me a dupe that I didn't post and that was it. I'll check. This was today.

Re: Another DR10 to RB10 conversion, now mid motor WIP

Fusion 360 for those who are interested. I created the models that have to fit existing parts by inserting a lens distortion corrected picture as a canvas then scaled it based on the screw hole spacing then tracing it on a sketch layer. First try success for everything but the motor plate, I could n...

Complete Pictorial Timeline Of Novak Electronics

A while back I found a cool thread started by Scr8p that linked to a timeline Novak had on their website. With Novak updates ending the timeline in 2009, their eventual closure, and wayback links as the only active workaround I thought bringing the timeline onsite would prove useful, as well as ente...

Old school guy checking in!

Greetings all! Like so many here, I started my RC journey in the late 70's with a Tamiya Lotus 79 John Player Special pan car, was into RC cars and boats big time back in the 80's and early 90's with several scale model boats and countless on road and off road vehicles, and even a Tamiya King Tiger ...

Re: The "My Current Version of My First Car" Thread

Well shoot, I never considered starting a thread for em. This is great as I'm not a big fan of the gallery. What fun is it to not have questions and answers. Anyway, here is mine again since my gallery will never get bumped   The original featured AJ's rear foams and proline fronts, a ...

Ultimate RC10DS

My most wild creation yet trying to utilize modern (available) drivetrain and front mount servo (drag specific) for the ultimate is front weight bias, onroad models will have standard servo mount location. Picked up the final piece of the puzzle today thanks to Andy Jacobson slinging some classic st...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I took my printed car out for a run on the local offroad track, along with my B6.3 and a recently acquired T5M. The printed car is a Badger, a front wheel drive. Has anyone seen one here? I also bought another project, a Kyosho Inferno (original), looks to not have a lot of time on it, buy is filthy...
