Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Thanks for the info. I'll try to order up some 3D printed stuff later this year and see how it goes. I figure I'll just wear these tires out then buy a shelf set and then decide on runner tires. Here's mine. It's a neat little car. I had the same issues as everyone else, the shocks were not great. A...

It's 1984 Xmas morning in Nov 2023!
Well I accidentally rediscovered RC10 after almost 40 years. I was never lucky enough to get one back when then but man did I beg! So I bought this beautifully never run chassis w a Edinger box that I'm going to build and display. I've gotten the bug and have a few more used ones coming that I'm goi...

Re: Features that you wish most 1/10 scale buggies had
Droop Screws Personally I don't understand why 1/10scale buggies almost never have droop screws and instead we have to tear apart shocks to adjust droop, find out it's too much or not enough and then have to do it all over again. Frustrating! Why does my cheap ass chinese 1/12 scale buggy have them...

Re: Features that you wish most 1/10 scale buggies had
Full carbon or aluminum chassis... there's still too much plastic on the chassis' of most cars.
Hinge bolts instead of hinge pins... e-clips were created by the devil.
Carbon shock towers standard... again, too much plastic.
Three piece wheels... glue sucks.

Re: Features that you wish most 1/10 scale buggies had
Pre cut bodies. Couldn't agree more. PITA cutting thin bodies every single time. The only part of the build to royally screw up. Why do the majority of manufacturers require us to STILL cut bodies and wings? Who is making these decisions lol? Do they think we ENJOY cutting wheel wells with sharp ob...

Re: Just finished my Tamiya BBX
Not sure how well it shows in the pics, but the metallic really pops. Painting the tires was bit of a pain but I think it was worth the effort. The tires aren't glued yet so I may remove them, strip the chrome off of the wheels and paint them to look like aluminum. I think that would suit the vintag...
