Finally got this car completely done...the 💎 One outlined the windows....I got a working scr pack put in from Thumbs!... a proper machined slipper eliminator recommended by scr8p (nice piece) and a almost new Quaterflash stock motor to represent Thumbs glory days of rc 20230429_150815.jpg 20230429_1...

The laughing says it all.... some good air time though

How fast was it going in the first video when it veered off into the grass, it looks like it was moving along pretty good

I laughed so hard with the laughter in the vid I was crying :lol: What a blast you guys have to be having do this. I have a vague memory of being somewhere around 10 years old or so that I too built an Estes powered rocket car ! Only difference is I built it from Construx. Needless to say it’s maide...

Thanks for the compliments!....yes, having a blast....after its all said and done, i will rebuild the car with new Factory Works chassis parts, new 67' Camaro body, and enter it next year in botm....but i want to get the best engine combination first.... Got the car rebuild...it was pretty tweeked.....

All ready for another run...still need to run Hobby Lobby (not today) for more D and E engines....got the two stage rocket igniter all wired up...initial launch on is on a button on transmitter....2nd stage is on the throttle trigger....gone try 2 D engines, D's at the hit, then bring the E in 1.5 s...

I built this RC 10 in the early 90’s while I was working at RC Car Action mag. Dig it out the other day. Had Tekin 410k esc. Carbon fiber tub chassis. Anodized old style shock bodies from Associated. Reedy motor. Did an article about it but don’t have the issues around.
