Made some changes...two single engines, new front wheels, steel reinforced rear deck lid....stay tuned...100mph here we come!

I thought for sure I posted this car when I first built it but I can't find the thread. Anyway, I decided to change up a few things to make it more like a proper speed run car of the period. These are the parts I added: - Tecnacraft Aero-Trac & diff hub - HPI front arm brace, pro rear upper plat...

Looking really good and close to being done. Took it completely apart and soaked all the plastic pieces and cleaned everything real good. And the best part is it all works too.

Maybe exhaust nozzles are needed to concentrate / direct the motor thrust and keep it on center. There also is the possibility of increasing the motor thrust by accelerating the flow rate. https://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/k-12/rocket/nozzle.html or maybe not. Looks like they might already have nozzles ...

This morning

There's all kinds of things going on with that run! It zigs, it zags, there's extra flame puffs at the end! I was sure a 'concrete magnet' had been installed and that it was going to go head on into the base of that pole at full speed! It was pucker time for sure Screenshot_20230511-150301_Gallery....
