Re: AI Generated R/C Images

I have been thinking about building an RC10 buggy bodied drag car for a couple of weeks now, and Gemini did a fantastic job right off the bat. :) It appears to be 4wd though, without steering links, or steering links are coming from a differential looking apparatus. The north-south motor and blower ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I'm not interested in most of the Fantom motors, but the older ones are pretty cool. I found a cool seller that worked with me and even included an interesting mystery motor. Also picked up an older AYK motor.

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

This might be a frankenmotor, but it has some interesting features. I haven't opened it up yet because I don't want to damage the endbell cover. I haven't seen an endbell cover like this before. It has grommets around the wires and had a tape wrap to the can. The endbell is a Kyosho style Trinity en...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Oddly enough we just had a bogus sign-up that used 'Tamiya Grasshopper.' I caught it due to the username being a female name. Whenever I have a doubt if a new member is legitimate or not, I check the IP address geolocation and Google the email address to see if it shows up on any spammer list which ...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

Wait... Mix tapes? Emotions?? Women are ethereal?? Did you meet someone new?!?! Is she cute? Does she have a younger sister?!? :P :P :P Nope, same ol' gal, Palmela. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. And yes, there is a sister, Lefticia, but she's kind of a jerk. :D :) :? :( :...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2025 **

This is my rc10cc built on a vintage graphite chassis. I used the original brass bushings and white idler gears finish out the build.

Re: ** POS Runner of the Month - June 2025 **

Not as POS-ish as some other members, but here's some more of my junk. $40 Ebay Grasshopper (GH 2 body). I bought some Blitzer Beetle wheels on clearance, a pinion, and a battery door. Everything else came from my junk stash. I have less than $60 in it. It has a Redcat 550 motor, Axial esc (with dra...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Slammed that Cirrus clear servo into the SWB TRX-1. Kind of a corny theme of clear-to-smoky electronics, but if you got 'em all, why not? "shoulder shrug emoji"
