Oh, the fun hasn't stopped! Try looking up your favorite British Broadcasting Corp station. Or recipes for your favorite dessert, banana cream pie.

Re: Back In My Day ..................

I was watching one of my youtube channels, https://www.youtube.com/@80sLife , and he was attending a fair that had an interesting exhibit, for typewriters. Then it hit me, when I was in 9th grade, I took a typewriting course in high school, and TBH, I was one of the few males in that class. In '88-'...

PC Game - ReCharge RC: High Voltage, Demo is fun

So recently a demo dropped for RrCharge RC: High Voltage. Which while not strictly a simulator like VRC seems to be pretty fun and has a pretty neat track builder and one of the first usable cars is something loosely based on a RC10 and Ultima. 20250615215957_1.jpg 20250615215930_1.jpg 2025061521461...

Re: What's the best R/C car name ever?

Something tells me that we've veered off topic a touch here. Why don't we all just settle down a bit, kick back with a couple chicks and a cup of coffee, and redirect back to where we should be, looking at Midnight Pumpkins! What about Vanessa's Lunchbox? I've wondered about that too. Was...

Re: Back In My Day ..................

.....bimd...was the same as last weekend, only 38years later.....thanks to CMB Belley, France and Belleysanne2025. Where everyone spoke the same language, (Vintage) and a bunch of old dudes (this old dude included) could be young and some young dudes could shine as well! The barbecue was epic. :wink...

Re: Tamiya Super Blackfoot

I got one of these for $50 from a guy I was meeting up to buy a Clod from. He had been waiting for two hours for somebody to show up to buy it and unfortunately, the guy never showed up. When I got there to pick up up the Clod he asked if I wanted it and I’m like no I only have 50 bucks left and I d...

Re: Racing On The "Other" Side Of The Pond

How Australians drive standing upside down still baffles me. Drivers-Stand.jpg terry.sc Appreciate the response. So, Roach was half right... not bad considering he's talking about something 4,500 miles away while most weatherman can't accurately tell you what's happening on the other side of a windo...

Re: Racing On The "Other" Side Of The Pond

Just a note for the Americans who might try to duplicate the British tracks: don't get your artificial turf from a baseball diamond  . Football or soccer maybe, mini-golf is probably ideal. I was lucky enough to be at a city park in North Vernon, IN (they have an RC dirt oval in the park) on th...

Sly Products Novak reproduction Cases for ORCA V2

These just turned up from France. Stumbled across SLY Products. They mostly make some reproduction period correct radio equipment for shelf queens and static display RC. But they made an interesting case set for Orca 800 series V2 brushed ESC. Got a couple delivered today and they fit beautifully. I...

FTW Ten4.1 Monster Truck

When I picked up a factoryworks.com Ten4.1 kit last year, I installed it on a FanRC FR01. I have no complaints about that car, but as soon as I was done with it, it hit me that I should have built a RC10 4WD MT Conversion. I almost took apart the FR01 to scavenge the parts, but I let it be. And it w...

From POS to Glamorous !

Getting this out for POS of the month I forgot just how much fun I had with this truck, it really was no f***s given. I had GT's at the time but I'd never send them to the moon or thrash on them like I did this truck. The truck is pretty beat and while it has a fair bit of sentimental value it's som...
