Not a 100% scale, but it's getting closer to what I'd planned...
One more side to go, then final details..

Re: Custom Works Dominator resto (done for now 9/14)
Wow Ken, I had no idea that you actually had or worked on vintage RC cars
Thought you only hung around here for the cooking, drinking and music threads
Very nice, do you still have it?
If so did you get your wheels and tires sorted?

Re: Custom Works Dominator resto (done for now 9/14)
FYI, most if not all Mini Mags did not have ridges.
Like the stock plastic 834B wheels, you glued the tires in place.

Re: Whoa! I'm the only member on-line...
Image1.jpg Noticed I was a loner about 9:40 this morning...didn't have time then to type out a joke, so here goes: A grade school teacher asked her students to use the word "fascinate" in a sentence. Molly put up her hand and said, "My family went to my granddad's farm, and we all sa...

Re: GoMachV's pin router v4: now pinless!
This one hasn't been too much into chewing on stuff in the shed but I keep a close eye on him. In the house he sticks to his toys and occasionally a slipper haha. Usually when we aren't paying enough attention to him. He knows it's wrong but it gets attention

Re: Motor Collection - Old School Horsepower
Nice table! I'm an engine/real car guy too  We have a large outbuilding which is used as a garage. You can get 6 cars in there parked up in two lines of three, at a push. Above that is a converted loft space which I use as a mancave and have all of my bikes up there. There will be room for the...

Tinkering with a 10L
This is my latest project. I’m pretty excited to finally put this crazy idea that’s been stuck in my head for a while now Not only is the chassis lipo compatible (standard or shorty) but it also retains the T plate styling that is simple and effective, as well as the stock shock and dampener assembl...

what body is this? looks like protech but????
Ever seen this one before? looks like a protech but with a whale tale in the rear of the body. Not saying it's pretty, just never seen it. Custom job? I can't see any lines on the body to suggest it added on, unless it's in the mold. there are some other subtle differences, hood line and it looks li...

Re: Picture size info please (Updated Complete!)
Well. For commercial printing, say, for quality magazines, you need 300dpi at actual size for an A4 page, (that's 210mmx297mm). Typically that'll be something like a 30-40mb file, (- there are some variables, and a lot of people nowadays flout the rules for 'best practise'). What size original are y...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
It's a watts link. Keep the rear centered in the chassis.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Yup if you consider the solid axle is just like a stock solid axle car, the watts link and side links provide the best articulation with the least compromise. Pretty neat.

Re: Buggy ID... from memory
How about a Kyosho Cactus? It doesn't have the pinion + spur arrangement you described, but it does have the other features and a very odd gearbox
. The grooved tires front and rear were stock.
