The SST 2000, receiving yearly upgrades to improve handling and performance would receive a new moniker in 1999, aptly labeled the SST '99 Pro. Re: My Attempt at doing something less basic
Admirable attempt on a Complex paint job. On the plus side... There wasn't any real bleed through between colors. +1 on the dislike of window nets. Duratrax RC10T and LXT Gas Conversion Ad
Never one to leave well enough alone, Duratrax found a way to fuel the desires of early 90's gas truck racers.
One of my all-time favorite ads, the image of engine swapping an RC10T like it was a full size truck was just captivating.

Re: MRC Baja King Ads
Short answer: 1/8th scale Long answer: The Nitro Thunder King was advertised as 1/8th scale and shared the same 14 inch wheelbase as the electric Thunder King and Baja King "World Scale" trucks... which, like 1911Colt mentioned, never had a fractional scale listed. The math on the wheelbas...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
What possessed them to lop off the back? There must be a reason. No one butchers a classic without a reason. Was this an original body for a kit that came in a very small box? Next up: a 57 Chevy with no tail fins. A daughter's helping her mom cook a ham. The mom cuts off and bastes bot...
