Re: Can you still buy battery bars or braid?

If RC stuff from the US isn't an option... you can pick up braided ground straps from your local auto parts store.

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

Got the windows tinted, and the aluminum drawn on. In hindsight: I should not have painted the bumpers inside the shell, if foiling them. Can always go back with some Tamiya Body Cleaner on a Q-tip to strip and refinish the silver bits you'd prefer to be black. Since they're on the bottom of the bo...

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance

Kind of a mixed bag... Price makes you wonder if Lett and the gang aren't jacking it up and pocketing the difference. Sure, logic dictates it's "what the market will bear" but the mental image paints a funny picture. Speaking of pictures, maybe the Graphite will come with a template for dr...

Kyosho Nitro Thrasher

In 1992 Kyosho debuted a new 1/10 4wd Nitro powered Monster Truck they dubbed, the Nitro Thrasher. Rather than build upon the previous Nitro Brute chassis Kyosho took a more 1/8 USA-1/Burns approach to the 1/10 Thrasher by basing it off their GP-10 4wd nitro platform. As a result, the Thrasher hit t...

Built Or Bought

A little morsel to chew on this New Years Eve... A while back I read a post on another site about a member there who'd purchased a B6.4 and was upset that once assembled he was required to spend more money on additional parts in order for it to be competitive at his track. The core of his argument. ...

Re: Kyosho Nitro Thrasher

I've never really considered it being based off the Inferno 10 before although similar, and I believe its parts work to eliminate the belts if desired. I always thought the Rampage, Outlaw Rampage, Thunderbird, Corvette ZR-1, and Ford RS-200 were its closest relatives since they were all based off ...

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!

If AE is serious, they really should do what they can to help customers source reasonably priced nitro engines that drop in with no modifications. Engine availability will certainly impact sales for the new GT. Sorry for stating the obvious. I'd venture a guess that a motor will become avail...

Re: Laser cut metal gears?

IIRC Send Cut Send recommends router cutting for gears as it's more precise and leaves a better finish. Then there's the $35 minimum order. Could have it made out of plastic since a dozen will cost as much as one... spares for a lifetime.

Like I said earlier, TRX-15. I don't see Associated telling customers to put a Traxxas motor in their GT's... imagine the meltdown buyers would have... https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExd2Y0bjk2cHRrY2tqdG1rdzBwdHh5aTh2eDBhaTk2NmJ2OXg1amczeCZlcD12MV9pbnRlcm5hbF9naWZfYnlfaWQmY3Q9Zw/J3...
