Re: Great American R/C Hobby Shop Directory 2025 (list is post #1)
Ok, same as in 2024 I just spent the last couple weeks combing through the directory removing closed locations and adding new ones. 20 brick and mortar and 1 online store closed last year but I was able to add well over 200 new shops to the list. Mostly all preexisting stores but some were newly ope...

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
For a final hand polish I like Eagle One wadding polish, it's like a polish infused cotton. Brasso also works good on aluminum.

In 1991 Kyosho released two 1/10 electric off-road buggies to the market, a revised 4wd Lazer, now in ZX-R guise, and the all new 2wd Triumph which replaced the venerable Ultima buggy: Triumph: Double deck carbon fiber (US) and fiberglass (Japan) chassis with adjustable (20/25/30 degree) front kicku...

Kyosho Tracker
In 1993 Kyosho released the Tracker as their newest 1/10 2wd electric Monster Truck. Rather than create another derivative of the Big Brute as they had done before, Kyosho took a page from their USA-1/Thrasher Nitro playbook for use on the electric side of the fence and adapted the Ultima II for Mon...

Re: Kyosho Nitro Lineup 1993
That 911 is sweet! Had no idea that was out there. Kyosho also did that 930 Slant Nose too, didn't they? At some point in the mid-late 90's, the USA-1 Nitro Crusher became based off of the Inferno MP-5, they changed the gas tank too at that time. Thanks for posting these articles, didn't read the m...

Re: Kyosho Nitro Lineup 1993
The tank and pan are very similar. Indeed the pans are very similar, I'd go so far to say deceptively so being the Inferno was an evolution of the Burns. But between the USA-1 N/C and inferno MP-5 the bulkheads, suspension, motor/drive systems, and their mounting points are all different. Cross ref...

Re: Kyosho Nitro Lineup 1993
That's more of the point I was making, that with the Burns to Inferno evolution, the USA-1 NC similarly evolved and used MP-5 compatible parts. I still have the steel gear kit for the USA-1 NC, which were all MP-5/Burns parts from the period. Ah, I get what you're sayin'. Yeah, gears, universals, d...

Re: Nitro Rush (RS2 ST) electric conversion.
Well done... the motor/electronics install almost looks factory... a lot to wedge into such a small space. Classic Kings were a way better choice over the stock wheels, especially with the WWII paint job, which looks awesome.
