Re: Newbie with Race Motor and AE RC10

those in that listing are 2.1" front wheels and tires. You will be fine with those. Be aware in the future that they also made narrow truck wheels that are 2.2" and those actually have 4 screws holding them together. So as long as you see three screws, you are OK.

Re: Yokomo works 93

Doug, those extra links are installed as a factory upgrade. when the car was first designed and tested, they noticed quite a bit of flex in the c-hub and front arms. So they added the extra brace and link to improve the front end stiffness. later models have improved materials and design to prevent ...

Re: Yokomo YZ-834B Speed controller plug ?

it's a typically used associated connector from that time period. I think there was a thread on here recently to discuss it. GomachV I think had the right part number or family part number. It is a molex connector and uses the same crimped pins and sockets. ah, here is the thread: https://www.rc10ta...

Re: The Presto Resto

the mint baja I had used a kydex bumper, so making one from 2-3mm kydex would be correct. the alloy one looks pretty much on point too.

Re: Brimod Prototype Car

I'm guessing same as Dadio, you have a front and center gearbox and need a rear gearbox/diff Assembly. Probably different cars.

Re: Rebuilding a B3

bodies look fantastic!! Any chance you can snap a pic of the B2 and B3 bodies side by side? Dressed similarly, it would be an excellent comparison resource here on the board.

Re: Yokomo TH-1 Wheel Adapters?

if you've already ordered them, you'll need 1/4" axles of some type. whether dogbone, u-joint or cvd/a. That would be the easiest way to use them. You will also need the right yokomo wheels, the ones that are for 870c/yz10, and not the later wheels with the deeper offset, such as the JCracing s...

Re: Motor voltage not reaching 7.2V. Vintage setup. Car slow.
