Re: - RC10 Graphite: a runner with long printed arms -
I just happen to have a bulkhead that someone trimmed the same way. I may have to use this in a build. Nice complement of parts too.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Pretty much all of the motor vendors used yokomo blanks at one time or another. Could be anything but with bushings, it's probably just a 27 turn stocker.
Is the endbell removable?

Re: Yokomo wheel offset -conclusion-
This is really good info sandkil. This is a tough subject to gather the facts on, but you did a great job! Sorry I can't be of more help. I can tell you the offset difference between 870c and later yz10, when the arms changed shape. The rear wheels have about a 7mm offset difference. The fronts are ...

Re: RC10 FF
Good points all and silly of me to think you didn't do 100% of your homework :D Did not know the b44 is narrower than the tub. I think it will all work out nicely. Kind of thinking something like a b44 wing mount for the rear body posts. Actually looking closer, coxbros has a great suggestion of som...

Re: Another ebay rescue
The rear shocks look hard anodized. They can be very light silver. The coloring of them are all over the map. almost bright silver to dark grey to deep olive green.

Re: Rc10 worlds front spring help.
Black springs are soft. Most of the time I've got my cars set up with silver all around, sometimes down to green. Generally 30wt shock oil all around but 5 points either way, front 35, rear 25 depending. One thing to remember is that the soft springs would rebound in a dynamic environment, vs a stat...

Re: SR315 LED Power Source
The LED's don't draw much. No worries pretty much any path you take. Are the LED's designed to drop in, ie. do they have a built in resistor?

Re: SR315 LED Power Source
Yes those have resistors. You can see the little lumps in the heat shrink near the leds. Be sure to keep them intact.

Re: SR315 LED Power Source
Usually they have a nice heavy trace connecting all the power pins so that should be fine.

Re: electricity 101
can the esc handle 8s?
12 gauge is probably fine as mentioned. be sure to heatshrink and insulate every thing very well. a short circuit anywhere there could cause major issues.

Re: electricity 101
Yeah that will stress the cells unfortunately. They will have a fairly different internal impedance. You should match the cells, and then balance charge them as an assembly if you can.
What will happen is the weakest most resistive cell will get heated up.

Re: Sourcing JRX2 wing wire
Any semi stocked hobby shop should have . 078" wire in the section where they have tubing, balsa and plastic modeling stock.
Otherwise you can find music wire in the same diameter at industrial places like McMaster Carr

Re: Yokomo... But which one is this?
It's an 870c/yz10/yr4 based design. I can't tell what arms they are though I don't recognize them.
