Re: TRX-10 Bullet Kick-Up Angle

So this is very strange, I measured two bullet nose plates and a blue eagle chassis and they all measured about 22 degrees. Not what I expected.

Re: Traxxas Pivot Balls

I did mention above that they are the same overall but have a slightly different form. They are good replacement parts.

Re: How to clean/refurbish steel ball studs?

Soak them in simple green full strength for a few days. Then stick them in a drill and use green scotchbrite on them. Grab them by the threads polish, then grab them by the balls and polish. If they are not rustproof enough for you, drop them into some sort of phosphoric acid, Krud kutter etc. Will ...

Re: To oil a shelfer?

If I know I'm not using the car I still use green slime and a few drops necessary to assemble the shocks, but I don't fill them. This way they stay lubricated and if I change my mind it's just a fill and bleed and off we go.

Re: Any Last Minute Advice For DIY AE Tub Powdercoating?

Always do a preheat on the part for a bit of time and then let it cool and apply the powder. That will prevent outgassing from contaminants.

Re: Startin the run what ya brung build of a Team Car

Yes use a foam block to keep your shorty lipo in place. As for the file, you can buy a cheapie set of jewelers files, there are about 5 or 6 different shape profiles, and a number of them would work. They usually come in a pack with plasti-dip handles. They are all around 1/8" to 1/4" wide...
