Really not enough info to know for sure.

Re: RC10T2 Basher
You need to loosen the slipper. There should be no reason you are stripping gears if the slipper is set correctly unless the motor keeps loosening up.

Re: RC10T2 Basher
Ugh grass is also super tough on parts, lots of drag.
If you can't get it to survive consistently, then yes you are probably trying to push too much torque through a high load surface(grass) so something would need to be adjusted. Run on different surface or keep cranking the power down.

Re: RC10 Edinger from Japan unboxing
If the trans is really smooth, someone probably took their time blueprinting the outdrives. They weren't bad, but the rework made them super smooth

Re: how to figure out caster and toe in angles for unknown hubs, mounts and caster blocks
when i have a bunch of caster block or arm mounts to decipher, I don't worry about measuring them. I just compare them to one another. pretty much for rc10 there are only a few options. find an 1/8" rod more than a couple inches long and that helps tremendously. for arm mounts, slide them on L-...

Re: TC3 diff parts - compatiblity?
The rings are very hard, but you can use a Dremel and stone to grind out the D shape to make it circular. It's not too difficult. It also doesn't have to be super accurate, the rest of the diameter will seat the ring.

Bright dip would be good. Type Ii anodizing, not hard anodized.

Re: Most Unuseful Question Of Ever About Brushed Motors
Yes, some magnets are stronger than others. There are dry formed magnets and wet formed magnets (the way they are molded) and the recipes used to make them. The wet magnets are generally stronger and keep their magnetism better.

Re: Solid epoxy diff. Do you really need a working diff?
If the outdrives are good, they are worth saving. I'd probably try heat, maybe like a toaster oven around 350degrees f. The diff gear and everything except the outdrive will likely be trash. Any higher temp and you will impact the heat treating. You should be able to heat, take out of the oven and t...
