Re: Rediscovering my old RC10
considering the gold tub, a and b will be very similar if you lay the antenna down on b. b can be as good as a or better if you keep it internal but raise the exposed part of the antenna above the tub sides. C will be marginally better or a lot better depending on how you place b. the 2.4G antenna i...

what body is this? looks like protech but????
Ever seen this one before? looks like a protech but with a whale tale in the rear of the body. Not saying it's pretty, just never seen it. Custom job? I can't see any lines on the body to suggest it added on, unless it's in the mold. there are some other subtle differences, hood line and it looks li...

Re: Masami 91 Stealth build
to build a masami replica is going to take a unique set of very hard to find parts, if you want to build it authentically. off the cuff, you need: TH-1 yokomo wheel adapters yokomo wheels copper yokomo springs yokomo white rod ends yokomo white spring preload clips the easiest of the parts above are...

Re: Traxxas Bullet Rebuild
Also, you will want to boil all the parts. Traxxas white nylon gets pretty brittle. Not the gear case though, it's a nylon blend and will distort. Although it's already broken so.

Re: Traxxas Bullet Rebuild
Those parts do come up from time to time. I'll look in my stash to see if I have anything and keep my eyes peeled.
I've waited for years to find I part I was missing so it's not a quick hobby for vintage.

Re: Two Cadillac A Stamp Rebuilds
Welcome Bob, you should be able to post pics right away.
The Andy's truck conversion is actually not too easily seen, there are only a couple of of them on the baords. If it's all together it's a sweet piece of history. I'd say restore it and enjoy a somewhat uncommon conversion.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
They should be Proline 1.5" wheels for tamiya cars. Same as used by Jay Halsey on his 85 rc10.

Re: Car#1 RC10DS graphite mid mount conversion
if you want to keep that slammed to the ground look but improve the rear squat, you can probably swap in these rear hubs, which will raise the axle centerline and bring the rear arms more level. https://www.amainhobbies.com/custom-works-gx-series-rear-axle-carriers-2-csw3241/p640890 they should pret...
