(2) Parma 63 Vette 10218 - complete with windows masks. https://i.imgur.com/KJZQQ5B.jpg https://i.imgur.com/fhZEFpa.jpg These are wide. https://i.imgur.com/wxzy8zH.jpg Might be hard to tell from the pic, but it says - Parma 63 Vette 10218 - in the mold below the bumper, this is it! https://i.imgur.c...

Re: Coupons and Specials

I just bought some retro computer chips from Canada, they used UPS instead of the Postal Service up there, the chips got here in the same amount of time I was told it would.

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue

Do still have the NES R.O.B., couldn't get rid of my robotic operating buddy. Oh wow, you've actually got yours out... I still got R.O.B. ...but he's packed away in the original box, the lil guy hasn't seen the light of day in decades. I still have all the rig for him, with the gyros, spinner, and ...

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue

Could only find one of the smaller correct size Gumout decals, the other one will turn up some day. https://i.imgur.com/DMn0Ixt.jpg In order to make the passenger side match, I'm going to have to borrow the Gumout from the Rough Rider common sheet. https://i.imgur.com/KdpocRi.jpg Had to do it. https...

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue

When I search for 1979 Beetle tail lights, it pretty much confirms every version of the Sand Scorcher box art is not accurate. :D https://www.copleywest.com/wp-content/uploads/1979-vw-super-beetle/IMG_1352-scaled.jpg Orange, red, white, is '79 US spec. Euro spec is the same apparently. Will still do...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

Reset the Kydex front bumper in order to put the body in the correct position and location for the Parma shell, there's a slight difference between the Bolink body that was fit to the bumper originally. Took quite a bit of time to get things lined up. https://i.imgur.com/xDQ0WeD.jpg https://i.imgur....

Got the interior-plate painted today. https://i.imgur.com/oOCDAaE.jpg The dash board I'll go over with X-18 aluminum and detail and highlight the features, later. https://i.imgur.com/Tsc5hZV.jpg But the masking tape pulled the acrylic airbrush paint from the floor board, in a few spots. https://i.im...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10

Pinned diff, nice!

In the early days, they were just drilling and tapping the RC10 hubs, but used the notched diff rings from Bud's. Page 6/12 explains this.

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

The new Parma body is larger in every direction, than the Bolink body is. The Bolink more closely resembles the fit and shape of the HPI '67 Vette, the Parma is a 1/10 Touring body, strictly. As a result, had to remove the side wings/body mounts, need to refit them to the Parma. https://i.imgur.com/...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

Hoping to get through the wheel wells today, it's really tough for me to create wheel wells out of blank Lexan, with no cut lines anywhere on this body for wheels. https://i.imgur.com/6r2kylE.jpg When I get one side setup, it then seems harder to replicate same thing on the other side, even with pap...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10

Those diff rings are hardened steel, I didn't have any luck trying to drill out the Bud's 2110 ring. https://i.imgur.com/hnNmJXy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ufSZH8a.jpg https://i.imgur.com/xERO92p.jpg In the end I used these instead, to lock the diff. https://i.imgur.com/aJN8RYz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/...

JFK and the moon speech, nice!
I'm a big fan of the moon cabbage.

I've been boosting my midi-chlorian levels for this particular design.

@LoboNYC made a great example. The HPI Fastback body is really nice.

Bullet makes an appearance in this one.
