The easiest way I have found to build the stock turnbuckles, is a shock wrench, and the old plastic AE wrench. Too far!

The foil takes some getting used to, and familiar with. Using gloves makes this much easier, it doesn't stick to your hands and makes it smudge free. I went ahead and ordered some Mother's and a Dremel buffing bit kit. Should all be here tomorrow. I was worried I may have left the shocks in too long when I was doing this. I did (4) soakings, (3) at 5 minutes, followed with a complete rinse each time, and then a ten minute soak to finish things of...

First time polishing aluminum that isn't auto trim, and is this small.


Curious to see how these will turn out. Starting on this now.

Spent about an hour learning how to not ruin anything. A bit of a mess.


Should get faster from here on out, now that I have the method down, and am not worried about ruining anything.
