Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
The bearings are fine. I'm gonna assume you got the Worlds re-release kit, so you should probably ended up with 4 extra 3/16x3/8 bearings.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
For the rust, you could soak them in CLR for a day, rinse off, and re-blue them with Beechwood. If you soak them in CLR with a bunch of other blued parts (like the screws, dogbones, rear stub axles), you might get the re-bluing and rust removal in the same step with just the CLR.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
I use the Birchwood gun bluing on steel. The brass black might not work on steel. But using CLR with other blued steel does tend to share the bluing.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
I'd get a bit of practice with blueing one something you don't care about , there's kind of an art to getting it right that might not come first time , small parts are easier though but you need to do each layer in one go or it gets blotchy .

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Marantz
Awesome stuff.
I still have my old Carver amp I bought new and a Carver pre-amp I picked up from a local collector. With my hearing, I could probably do just as well with something from Walmart
but I like having old stuff that still works.

Re: RC10GT - Black Pan and Plastics - #7065
Regardless of brand, I use Tamiya AW grease on all my CVD's. It looks to be a moly-graphite type grease, similar to CRC assembly lube (but thicker).
